Britanski nacionalni avioprijevoznik najavio je pokretanje međunarodnih linija u srpnju, uključujući tri destinacije u Hrvatskoj, javlja portal Croatian Aviation.
Iako je ova kompanija planirala letove u Hrvatsku u jednom trenutku čak i za lipanj, do toga nije došlo, uglavnom zbog restrikcija koje je propisala vlada u Velikoj Britaniji.
Trenutno je još uvijek obavezna samoizolacija od 14 dana po dolasku u Veliku Britaniju, no kompanije bazirane u ovoj zemlji vrše pritisak na nadležna tijela kako bi se ta restrikcija ukinula što bi uvelike olakšalo ponovno uspostavljanje zračnog prometa.
Prema trenutnim informacijama, British Airways namjerava pokrenuti tri linije prema Hrvatskoj od srpnja, i to prema Zagrebu, Splitu i Dubrovniku.
- London (Heathrow) – Zagreb, od 09. srpnja, tri puta tjedno, ponedjeljkom, četvrtkom i subotom,
- London (Heathrow) – Split, od 09. srpnja, četiri puta tjedno, ponedjeljkom, četvrtkom, petkom i nedjeljom,
- London (Gatwick) – Dubrovnik, od 16. srpnja, tri puta tjedno, ponedjeljkom, četvrtkom i subotom.
