Data that saves lives is no longer our far future. It's in the present, and Dubrovnik is getting one through project of cross border collaboration of Croatia, Italy and Albania - ADRIARadNet. Financed by the European union, a radar is to be set on the hill of Žarkovica above the city of Dubrovnik, but will send and receive data through meteorological network across the Adriatic sea, preventing and reducing natural disasters and consequences. The radar will also provide accurate weather forecasts for specific areas, which, ultimately, provides safer and more peaceful living.
